Vote for John Smith for Olympic Hall of Fame!

John Smith won 6 straight world and Olympic gold medals from 1987-1992, a feat no other US wrestler has ever done.  His dominance on the world level for that length of time makes him arguably the best freestyle wrestler the US has ever produced.  Smith is currently in the running to be inducted into the US Olympic Hall of Fame this year, but as USA Wrestling wrote on themat.com,

"There are only two wrestlers in the U.S. Olympic Hall of Fame, Dan Gable and Bruce Baumgartner. This makes wrestling well under-represented, considering that the U.S. wrestling program has produced 46 Olympic gold medals for the United States, as well as over 120 Olympic medals."
